APIS BIOLOGIX

Taurine, Gamma-aminobutyric acid (Gaba), Citrulline, Arginine.

The nervous system of all known organisms plays an important role in nearly every aspect of health and well-being. Our investigations into the compositional profiles of floral pollen and nectar have identified several historically overlooked nutrients known for their supportive, and respective roles within the honeybee nervous system.

Taurine

Taurine is an organic compound classified as a non-protein amino acid. Taurine is one of the most abundant free amino acids found in the tissues of insect nervous systems. We have included taurine in our formulations as it is found naturally in floral pollen, beebread and floral nectar.

Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (Gaba)

Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) is a neurotransmitter that plays a supportive role in various physiological processes in honeybees, such as learning, memory, and social behavior. We have included GABA in our formulations as it is found naturally in floral pollen, beebread and floral nectar.

Citrulline & Arginine – Nitric Oxide (NO)

Citrulline and arginine are amino acids known to be important for the production of Nitric Oxide. Nitric Oxide plays a supportive role as a neurotransmitter in the honeybee nervous system. We have included citrulline and arginine in our formulations as they are found naturally in floral pollen, beebread and floral nectar.
